Who We Are

Education is a vaccine for violence.

Tiffany

Tiffany is from Central Wisconsin and is majoring in psychology.  She hopes to work in the health care setting treating underserved populations. Tiffany is deeply passionate about women’s rights, particularly ensuring women’s access to safe, affordable, and comprehensive reproductive health. She believes that having a voice reminds women that knowledge is power, and that writing will allow her the opportunity to expand and act upon her passion by letting her speak from the heart.

Tiffany feels that it is important that we, as advocates, not only carefully convey correct knowledge, but also ensure that women can make their own personal decisions armed with truth. In this blog, she offers you the translation of the expressions of her heart. She offers you a sincere commitment to tending to women’s healthcare needs and thus making sure you all enjoy equity. Her interests also include: church, spending time with family, politics (STEM and education), and science. Tiffany loves helping people and has a particular interest in empowering women so they can live happy and healthy lives.

Tim

Tim is from Southern California and is majoring in sociology because he says you may only live once in this world so you might as well break out of your bubble and get to know it while you’re here. He plans to eventually work in social research and data analysis, backing up his theories with empirical findings. Below is an overview of his theory (an elaboration of the chart is in the workings). He sees the world going down a downward spiral and is determined on it reversing directions. Thus, his areas of focus range from raising awareness about human rights abuses to political activism to understanding the nuts and bolts of society and helping others understand it, for one cannot fix what one does not understand. If there’s one thing he would like to accomplish in his lifetime, it would be to publish a book which sets a firm theoretical foundation concerning life, basically, from which present and future generations can benefit and build upon. Of course, expanding on the path such as through activism and donating to worthy causes is also important. In the end, he says, we are all in this together and life is too precious to struggle through aimlessly. When he’s not trying to change the course of history, he likes to study world cultures and listen to jazz.

  1. I’d like to send you a white paper on the “Logic of the Health Care Debate” for your perusal and comment. Keep up the great work.

  2. Pregnancy is a right. If you need to take a pill because you are dumb then you deserve what you get. If you are raped then give the baby up for adoption. if women would keep their legs closed and not wide open for ANY man. Then our population would not be so over populated. So many woman say “pity me”. I have seen a women not get their way and she cries rape or woman use a child/pregnancy against men. So sad. And Maybe some people should really take a look at their own life “Tiffany” and maybe write a paper on drinking and how bad it is. I pitty some men. I feel bad for the male gender. They get screwed by women ALL the time. And yes I am of the female gender.

    • We appreciate your input, Wonder Woman, and would simply like to clarify a few things.

      “Pregnancy is a right.”

Yes, women have the right to either reproduce or not.

“If you need to take a pill because you are dumb then you deserve what you get.”

We do not feel controlling estrus is dumb.

“If you are raped then give the baby up for adoption.”

However, the pregnancy itself is torturous.

“if women would keep their legs closed and not wide open for ANY man.”

We have nothing against the choice of celibacy.

“Then our population would not be so over populated.”

The world is not overpopulated as much as it is unequal, with some parts of the world consuming much more than their fair share.

“So many woman say “pity me”. I have seen a women not get their way and she cries rape or woman use a child/pregnancy against men. So sad.”

This population of women is probably not the best representation of the over 3 billion women on this planet.

“And Maybe some people should really take a look at their own life ‘Tiffany’ and maybe write a paper on drinking and how bad it is.”

      Yes, drinking is bad, .

“I pitty some men. I feel bad for the male gender. They get screwed by women ALL the time. And yes I am of the female gender.”

The patriarchy almost certainly appreciates your concern for it.

  3. Nah drinking isn’t a problem. Alcoholism is. I don’t quite understand the spurious relationship between what is presented and drinking, there are many things that are problematic in the world. I found a little education about emergency contraception was nice.

I won’t ever need emergency contraception though because I wear superhero costumes to bed… It helps ward off nightmares because no one will upset super-man. Unfortunately it virtually guarantees that sex will only happen with alcoholic women who’s drinking has become an extreme problem for them.

Yeah I’m sorry.. I see how problem drinking and emergency contraception go together now, my bad,

P.S. Tuesday is cookie monster night if you want to roll in the crumbs wonder woman!
