I commend you, but a fetus is not the equivalent of a child. And as much as I respect all living creatures, from cows to monkeys to fetuses, I do not think it is appropriate to prod around in a women’s uterus. If you are a conservative, how can you agree with the government controlling the most intimate areas of your body and life?

Yes, you read but didn’t experience. You can’t trust everything you read. That’s beside the point thought. It is up to each individual woman to decide whether to have an abortion or not. If they don’t want one, then they have every right not to. We are not encouraging abortions. We simply want women who *do* want abortions to have that choice, hence, the term “pro-choice”.

That’s good but we are talking about ectopic pregnancies, rape, deformities, etc., not the crimes of the mother, which is absent in the aforementioned examples.

Yes, I agree that two wrongs don’t make a right, and punishing the mother for being raped or what have you also does not make a right.

No ones using anyone as an excuse. It is a REALITY that many women need abortions but can’t access them so they resort to dangerous methods that could kill the mother too. Second, it is not a for-profit industry. The doctors don’t make much money and their lives are threatened every day by anti-abortion groups. The number of providers are actually shrinking. Therefore, the only ones that are doing it are those who genuinely care about women. Also, many anti-abortion rhetoric are made by front groups and, an any event, one person’s story does not speak for everyone.

I believe you’re mistaken. This is the Antichrist – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist . Jesus actually taught love and was quite a feminist. I do not believe I am against Jesus or his teachings. But if you insist that I am anti-Christ, then so be it. Let me ask you something though and I want you to answer truthfully. I don’t want to ask this but feel it is necessary seeing as how there are many women out there who are actually in the position I’m about to put you in and who are being bullied. Putting yourself in another’s shoes, if you were brutally raped by, say, your dad, would you deliver your dad’s baby under government surveillance. If you had a medical condition and would die with the baby, would you get an abortion or die with the baby? And if you arrived at the doctor’s, would you like being interrogated?
